BECOME A VOLUNTEER
A critical component to the success of the Hammond Education Foundation’s programs is the support provided by volunteers who assist our various committees complete their work within the School City of Hammond community. The Hammond Education Foundation requires volunteers on an annual basis to participate on the following committees: Scholarships Committee Oversees scholarship applications, submissions and awards and is responsible for review of applications and scoring. Acorn & Seedling Grants Committee Oversee Acorn/Seedling Grant applications, submissions and awards and is responsible for review of applications and scoring. Relationships & Events Committee Oversee the development and maintenance of HEF relationships through the development of a marketing plan, board member, alumni, volunteers and promotional events, i.e. Annual Dinner, Back to School Events, New Teacher Orientation and Sip & Learn.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Because of supporters like you, the Hammond Education Foundation has been able to fund nearly $2 million in scholarships, classroom grants, and innovative programs that augment School City of Hammond budgets.
